Ignited Discovery Website and E-Discovery Grid

We developed custom e-discovery data processing to integrate with a custom grid computing platform and other applications for Ignited Discovery, an e-discovery services company, resulting in exponential increase in e-discovery throughput.

We helped to implement high performance process optimizations using a custom grid computing architecture. UVision also enabled better customer management and content management solutions to help Ignited Discovery grow and better handle larger projects and growing customer needs. UVision also redesigned and implemented Ignited Discovery’s website using Drupal. In 2009, Ignited Discovery was awarded the Inc500 recognition by Inc. Magazine rating the top 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. Achieving an astonishing growth rate of almost 700 percent in just three years, Ignited Discovery has seen revenue leap from $343,340 in 2005 to some $2.7 million in 2008. This remarkable curve has easily secured Ignited a place on the vaunted list, where it joins prominent companies like Microsoft, Timberland, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Oracle, and Under Armor. The progressive e-Discovery company also went on to rank 34th amongst all businesses in the Washington, DC metro area.

RDB, originally from UK, is an international recognized and highly talented DJ / production group that have come to dominate Bollywood and South Asian music entertainment as highly-sought after artists for more than 10 years. RDB has always been innovative in connecting with fans across the globe and now wanted to push the envelop with fresh ideas and strategies such as an engaging experience for their fans and more social media engagement to attract higher end sponsors and bigger production and movie deals.

In 2010, RDB was seeking to grow it’s brand presence in the United States mainstream market and position itself to align itself with more western acts especially in the hip-hop world. Snoop Dogg had already partnered with RDB to produce, Singh is King, the Bollywood blockbuster of the year in 2008 by the time RDB hired us.

National Geographic Internal Brand Audit Multi-Blog

We helped National Geographic transform brand audit survey data, which came from a Survey Monkey data set, into a WordPress Multi-site network blog to allow anyone from National Geographic’s staff to post comments to feedback given on the survey responses. We did this by rapidly transforming the data files into a form compatible with WordPress multi-site blog API and content models. By creating blog posts for staff to read and comment on, more feedback on brand perception was assessed in an anonymous open forum in the National Geographic intranet.

NMSF Web Platform & Technology Solutions

The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is a non-profit organization created to assist the federally managed NOAA National Marine Sanctuary Program with education and outreach programs designed to preserve, protect and promote meaningful opportunities for public interaction with the nation’s marine sanctuaries.

NMSF has partnered with UVision since 2004 to consult on web technology and to integrate e-commerce and back-office solutions along with custom grant management, charitable donation and donation campaign management solutions to reduce costs and increase revenues.

We redesigned the organizations website using Drupal CMS to allow the Foundation to more easily publish content for their audience in order to raise donations and communicate with constituents for the nation’s marine sanctuaries as well as other Foundation-sponsored donation campaigns.

ThankYouOcean.org Drupal Website and Workflow Applications

The California Public Ocean Awareness Campaign also known as the ThankYouOcean.org program is a joint venture between NOAA, State of California Natural Resources Agency and NMSF to raise awareness and protections for our oceans including web presence, television and radio public service announcements. The website is a critical element in these campaigns and was developed with a Drupal content management system to educate the public and changing attitudes and behaviors towards the coast and the oceans. UVision provided expert support and development of the website.

In 2008, UVision and supporting team of the ThankYouOcean.org program were honored with US Presidential award in 2008.
